SoundTouch Reborn installation service: how personal setup works
SoundTouch Reborn is free and open source. Our paid service can handle the assessment, installation, station setup and joint function test for you.
What we check before an appointment
First, tell us your exact SoundTouch model, number of devices and desired functions. We check free of charge whether remote support is suitable and what you should have ready.
- SoundTouch model and device condition
- network access via Wi-Fi or Ethernet
- a suitable Windows PC or Mac for remote support
- desired stations, presets and optional features
How remote support works
At the agreed time, you start a one-time support session and explicitly approve access. Together we check the speaker, network and firmware, install SoundTouch Reborn and configure the agreed features. We then test the preset buttons and browser control.
You can see and end the session at any time. Once setup is complete, SoundTouch Reborn runs on the speaker; no permanent remote-support connection is installed.
Alternatives: send-in or on-site service
If you do not want remote access to your computer, you can send in the device after arranging the details. In the Allgäu, an on-site appointment may also be possible. For several devices, we help you choose the most practical route.
Prices and successful setup
Remote setup costs €39 for one device or €69 for up to four devices in one household. Shipping is added for send-in service; on-site pricing depends on distance and scope. You receive the setup invoice only after the agreed installation has been completed successfully.
SoundTouch Reborn itself remains free. Our fee covers only time, assessment, setup and personal support.
