2. Accessing this website
When you access the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data, in particular your IP address, time, requested page, transferred data volume, and browser and system information. Processing is necessary to provide the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
3. Cookies and analytics
This website does not use analytics, marketing or tracking cookies and does not embed external fonts, maps or videos.
4. Contact form
When you submit the form, your name, email address, device model, requested service, message, language, submission time and technically necessary connection data are encrypted in transit via HTTPS and sent to our own web server. The information is forwarded by email to kontakt@smart-speaker-service.de and used only to process your request and follow-up questions. A neutral acknowledgement containing your name, selected service and device model is also sent to the email address you provide. No external form provider is used.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for general enquiries and protection against abuse. An invisible blank field, a minimum completion time, temporary limits on repeated enquiries and a computational task verified locally on our server help prevent spam. The security check sets no cookies and sends no data to an external CAPTCHA provider.
5. Remote support
Remote support takes place only by appointment and after active customer approval via Zoho Assist in an EU data centre. No unattended permanent access is set up and sessions are not recorded. Further information is provided before placing an order.
6. Appointment booking via Zoho Bookings
No Zoho content is loaded automatically. Only when you open the external booking page is a connection to Zoho established and technically necessary connection data processed. If you book an appointment, the contact, device and appointment data you enter are also processed.
The provider is Zoho Corporation B.V., Beneluxlaan 4B, 3527 HT Utrecht, Netherlands. Processing serves appointment display, booking, confirmation and preparation of the requested service under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. A data processing agreement is in place with Zoho.

7. External links
Links to the independent SoundTouch Reborn project and Zoho lead to external websites. A connection to the respective operator is established only when you click a link.
8. Your rights
Subject to statutory requirements, you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
9. Retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry, perform the contract or comply with statutory retention obligations.
