Restore Bose SoundTouch presets and internet radio
For many owners, the six physical buttons were the best part of SoundTouch. A local solution can restore this convenient way of listening after the Bose cloud shutdown.
Why the preset buttons changed
Radio stations and other content used to be found and saved through the Bose service. With the cloud offline, that central component is gone. The speaker can still play audio, but it no longer receives the requested radio stream from the former service.
A new Bose account or reinstalling the app therefore cannot bring this cloud function back. A factory reset does not restore it either.
How SoundTouch Reborn solves this locally
SoundTouch Reborn gives the speaker a local interface for internet radio and presets. After a one-time installation, it runs directly on the SoundTouch device, so a computer does not have to remain switched on.

What you need for setup
The SoundTouch must be switched on and reachable on the home network. Remote support also requires a Windows 10/11 PC or a Mac running macOS 12 or later on the same network.
Before the appointment, note the stations you want on buttons 1 to 6. A station name plus its city or regional version helps us choose the correct stream.
Install it yourself or request support
The software and public instructions are available free of charge from SoundTouch Reborn. If you are comfortable with the installation, you do not need our service. We help owners who prefer personal setup or need assistance with firmware, networking and configuration.
