2. Essential characteristics

The service consists of personally installing and configuring SoundTouch Reborn on compatible SoundTouch devices. Remote support uses a one-time Zoho Assist session actively approved by the customer. The basic package includes installation and configuration, up to six radio presets, smartphone control and a joint function test.

Multiroom groups and playback of your own music are optional extras. Hardware repairs, electrical installation work and services supplied by the open-source project itself are not included.

3. Prices

Prices are total prices. No VAT is charged pursuant to Section 19 UStG. SoundTouch Reborn is free open-source software; there is no software subscription.

4. Technical requirements and cooperation

The customer needs a supported SoundTouch device, a Windows 10/11 PC or Mac running macOS 12 or later on the same home network, and administrator rights. Smartphone, computer and speaker must be accessible and operational. Model, firmware and network are checked in advance based on the customer's information. Final suitability can only be determined during the technical assessment.

5. Formation of contract

The website presentation is an invitation to book. By using the clearly labelled booking button in Zoho Bookings, the customer makes a binding offer. The contract is concluded when the booking confirmation is sent by email. The contract language is German. The confirmation contains the submitted appointment details and is provided by email on a durable medium.

6. Performance and payment

The service is supplied at the booked or individually agreed time. Remote access is approved for the individual session only; no unattended permanent access is installed and sessions are not recorded. After the joint function test, the customer receives an invoice due within 14 days without deduction.

7. Right of withdrawal and early performance

Consumers generally have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal. Details are provided in the withdrawal instructions and model withdrawal form. If performance is to begin within the withdrawal period, the booking process obtains the customer's express request and acknowledgement that the right may expire.

8. Appointment changes

Cancellation or rescheduling is free via the links in the confirmation email up to twelve hours before the appointment. In case of last-minute technical problems, the customer should make contact immediately by email.

9. Privacy

10. Independence

Smart-Speaker-Service is an independent IT setup service and is not affiliated with Bose Corporation or the SoundTouch Reborn project.
